Q -> total number of molecules of HCl react with 1 mole of borax to convert all borons into boric acid.

solution : chemical formula of borax is Na_2B_4O_7

chemical formula of Boric acid is H_3BO_3

here reaction between borax and hydrochloride is given below..

Na_2B_4O_7+2H_2O\rightarrow H_2B_4O_7+2NaCl

after hydrolysis : H_2B_4O_7+5H_2O\rightarrow 4H_3BO_3

here it is clear that when 1 mole of borax is treated with 2 moles of hydrochloride we get H_2B_4O_7. after hydrolysis of it, we get 4 moles of boric acid.

Therefore two moles of hydrochloride is used to converts all borons into boric acid of 1 mole of borax.
