A cube is a three dimensional body. A cube has:

6 Square Faces: congruent

12 Edges: congruent

8 Vertices (cornors): congruent

6a² = 600 cm² ……… TSA (Totals Surface Area) of the cube; by data

a²= 100 cm² ………… Surface Area (SA) of a face

a = 10 cm ………… Length of an edge (side)

Given:

  • Total surface Area ( Cube ) = 600 m²

To Find:

  • Edge of the cube ?

Formula Used:

  •  {\boxed{\boxed{\sf\green{ Total \: surface \: Area_{(Cube)} = 6a^2 }}}} \\

Step by step:

After putting values;

➦ 600 = 6a²

➦ 600/6 = a²

➦ 100 = a²

➦ √100 = a

10 = a

Hence,

The edge of the cube is 10 m.
