total surface area ( TSA) of cube box = 1176cm^2

here we find the edge of cube = ?
using formula

Total surface area of cube ( TSA) of a cube = 6 × edge^2

then,

TSA of cube = 6 × edge^2

1176cm^2 = 6 × edge^2

 \frac{1176 {cm}^{2} }{6} = {edge}^{2} \\ \\ = > 196 = {edge}^{2} \\ \\ = > edge \: = \sqrt{196} \\ \\ = > edge \: = 14cm

therefore the edge of cuboid 6 cm.
