Answer

T.S.A of cuboid =2(lb + bh+lh) = 200 m²

T.S.A of cuboid =2(lb + bh+lh) = 200 m²L.S.A = 2h( l+b) = 140 m²

The base area = lb

140 = 2h ( l+b)

140/2 = h(l +b)

70 = h( l+b)______(i)

200 = 2(lb + bh+ lh)

100 = lb + bh + lh

100 = lb + h( l + b)

100 = lb + 70______Putting the value from eq(i)

lb = 100 - 70

lb = 30 m²

∴ Area of the base = 30m²
