Answer:

VOLUME = 4312 cm³

TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF RIGHT CIRCULAR CYLINDER = 2πrh+2πr²

Height = 4×radius

We have to find the volume.

2 × π × r × 4r + 2 × π × r × r ( formula of the area )

( H=4r )

8πr²+2πr²

which is 10πr²=1540

( Given in the question )

r² = 49cm

so,

radius = 7cm

thus the height will be = 4×7 = 28

VOLUME OF A CYLINDER = πr²h

π×7×7×28

VOLUME = 4312 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER

Height=4× radius of the base.

⇒h=4r where r is the radius of the base

Total surface area=1540sq.cm

2πr(r+h)=1540

⇒2πr(r+4r)=1540

⇒2×

7

22

×5r

2

=1540

⇒r

2

=

22×10

1540×7

=49

∴r=7

Hence height =h=4r=4×7=28cm

V=πr2h

V=22/7*7*7*28

4312cmsquare
