Given :

TSA of cylinder = 924cm²

Radius of cylinder = 7cm

To Find :

Height and Volume of cylinder

Solution :

As we Know that Total surface area of cylinder is given by 2πr (h + r) where h is Height and r is radius. By putting the values of radius and Volume we will find the height. After Getting the height we can easily find the Volume of cylinder by Using formula πr²h

TSA of cylinder = 2πr (h + r)

⟶ 924 = 2 × 22/7 × 7(h + 7)

⟶ 924 = 2 × 22 (h + 7)

⟶ 924 = 44h + 7

⟶ H = 924/44 + 7

⟶ H = 21 + 7

⟶ H = 28cm

∴ Height of cylinder is 28cm

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

⟶ 2 × 22/7 × (7)² × 28

⟶ 2 × 22/7 × 49 × 28

⟶ 2 × 22 × 7 × 28

⟶ 44 × 7 × 28

⟶ 8624cm³

Volume of cylinder is 8624cm³
