I’d quote the chapters that I found quite tough to understand at the first go:-

Organic Chemistry( Some topics from basics and some from Hydrocarbons). Later , I realized that organic requires intense revision and recapitulation.

Ionic equilibrium and Thermodynamics . Enough said :D

Some parts of Chemical Bonding are tough to understand without good visual /photographic abilities. To mention some are the shapes of hybrid orbitals, the entire atomic and subatomic picture etc.
