if 4root3 is the correct answer
then there will be two triangles form with base as common cord and height as half of radius(since, line passing from centre cuts the cord in two equal half)
then the heputenuse of the triangle is the radius of circle since it's the distance between centre and circumference
so that's how h^2=p^2+b^2
4^2=2^2+b^2
16-4=b^2
under root 12=b
b=2root3
and we'll twice it since thats half of what we need to find
so the answer is 4root3
