Let the numbers in the ratio be 3x and 4x.

• Their sum = 84

Therefore,

➝3x+4x=84

➝7x=84

➝x=$\sf{\cancel\frac{84}{7}}$

Now,the numbers are :-

• 3x=3(12)=36
• 4x=4(12)=48
