tow plot of land one square and other rectangle have same perimeter if the rectangular field is of size 90m by 70m which plot has the greater area and by how much​

Answer:

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle

4*side = 2 (L + B)

4* side = 2 (90 + 70)

Side = 2*160/4 = 80 m

Area of square = side * side = 80*80 = 6400 sq m

Arra of rectangle = l*b = 90 *70 = 6300

Area of square is greater by 6400-6300 = 100 sq m

perimeter of the rectangle land= 2*(90+70)=320m

perimeter of the square land=4*a=320/4=80m

area of rectangle=90*70=6300m square

area of square =80*80=6400m square

area of square is higher by 100m square
