I have heard that about 4000 temples were destroyed by Aurangazeb alone.

Mohammed of Ghazi destroyed Somnath temple 17 times but each time it was rebuilt .Even Dwarakadish temple was looted by him.

He even destroyed Nalanda University and set it on fire. It is said that he killed all brahmins and Buddhist monks present there.

Ayodhya ram temple was destroyed by Babur. Likewise Varanasi temple.

When you come to South India, The Meenakshi Temple Madurai was destroyed by Sultans of Badami ( rebuilt later). Likewise Sri Chennakeshava Temple, Vittala temple etc were also destroyed by them. Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple was destroyed by Malik Kafur. (Rebuilt).

When you look into Pakistan, The great Mulasthana (Multan) Sun temple was destroyed by them. Multan Sun Temple was the richest temple of that period ( destroyed-10th century). Likewise Marthand temple in Kashmir (one of the oldest Hindu temples).

The list goes on and on and on.

But we have destroyed only one Mosque
