Trace and explain the steps involved in the formation of plant seed starting from pollination.

when pollination occurs:-

1. the pollengrains get settled on the stigma.

2. the pollen tube travels the pollen grains from stigma to ovary with the help of style

3. the fertilization takes place and after sufficient time when the plant gets matured the rest of the part of the plant will get detached

4. the ovary will turn into a fruit and the ovule or zygote will turn into a seed .

5. the seed gets a thick layer with two cotyledons ,a plumule and a radical.
