when a bright light is focused on eye,receptor cell receives the message and passes on to sensory neurones ,then it goes to brain,brain reverts back the message by motor neurones which contracts the pupil.
hope this answer will be helpful for you

When the bright light is focused on your lights the photoreceptors generate electrical impulses and send it to the sensory neurons

they carry the stimuli to the spinal cord which transports the message to the brain

the brain revert back the message by the motor neurons which contract the Pupil.

The sequence of events which occur is as follows:-

Receptors ->sensory neurons -> brain ->motor neurons ->eye muscles-> pupil
