Hi, hope this helps you...

Light focused on eyes - stimulus sensed and received by receptors in eyes - rods and cones take the stimulus in the form of impulse to the spinal cord - decision taken by spinal cord - stimulus transferred to motor neuron from spinal cord to ciliary muscles - muscles contract - eyes respond by blinking and closing

Answer:

When the bright light is focused on your lights the photoreceptors generate electrical impulses and send it to the sensory neurons

they carry the stimuli to the spinal cord which transports the message to the brain

the brain revert back the message by the motor neurons which contract the Pupil.

The sequence of events which occur is as follows:-

Receptors ->sensory neurons -> brain ->motor neurons ->eye muscles-> pupil
