photoreceptors generate electric impules and send it to the spinal cord via the sensory neurons.the spinal cord inteprets the message and send its respones to the muscles  of the eyelids to close via the motor neurons. and therefore our eyelids close when bright light is focused on our eye.

i hope it was helpful

Answer:

When the bright light is focused on your lights the photoreceptors generate electrical impulses and send it to the sensory neurons

they carry the stimuli to the spinal cord which transports the message to the brain

the brain revert back the message by the motor neurons which contract the Pupil.

The sequence of events which occur is as follows:-

Receptors ->sensory neurons -> brain ->motor neurons ->eye muscles-> pupil
