When a saturated solution is heated, it becomes unsaturated, because it causes an increase in kinetic energy which leads to an increase in distance between the molecules of the liquid. So that the solute particles take free space present in the solvent.

That is why saturated solution becomes unsaturated on heating.

Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.

hope it helps u dear.......

2)Two immiscible liquids, such as oil and water, can be separated by using a separating funnel. Later the mixture is placed in a separating funnel or colloquially sep funnel and allowed to stand. The oil and water form two separate layers, with the less dense liquid being on top.

b)solvent: the substance in which a solute dissolves to produce a homogeneous mixture. solute: the substance that dissolves in a solvent to produce a homogeneous mixture.

c)solution that contains the maximum amount of solute that is capable of being dissolved.

d)saturated solution is heated, then it becomes unsaturated because solubility of solute increases on heating
