The subjects of Trade and commerce are mentioned in the Entry 33 of List III of the Seventh Schedule of Indian Constitution. it comprises of the power of both the Central and the State to make legislation on the subject of Trade and Commerce.

The Central Government will make the rules and regulation on the foreign trade and commerce whereas the State Government have the power to legislate on the Internal Trade and Commerce between the Indian States.

Prior to Constitution provisions Article from 301 to 307 in Part XIII deals with trade and commerce within the territory of India.
