He went after the honest trader to claim the bowl but he failed to find him.
He returned home empty-handed and crestfallen (disappointed).
By the time he reached home, he was very ill.
The honest trader sold the golden bowl in another city.
It fetched him more money than he had expected.
He returned home a wealthy man.
The good man is thus rewarded.
He remains honest even after his fortune changed.
