I completely agree with the statement that these traditions and norms are an obstacle to progress .they hinder the development of new ideas and cultures .many people just follow the old traditions without even knowing their reason.it makes a person irrational and narrow minded .these culture are then also forced upon the youth,the new and modern generation .thus,we should not stick to the old culture and norms without their proper knowledge and knowing their meaning
