Personally, I think this is a value based question.

In my opinion, warriors should have been recruited and promoted according to merit and not on the status of their birth.

Traditionally kings and Warriors belong to Kshatriya caste -True

Explanation:

  • In ancient India, the caste system was used to create separate classes of people, centered on  employment & social position. The role and importance of these roles, including the authority and importance of the patriarchal system, was influenced by the god stories in the Rig-Veda epic
  • There were four classes in the caste system:
  1. Brahmins (priests & scholars),
  2. Kshatriyas (kings, governors, & warriors).
  3. Vaishyas (cattle herders, artisans, agriculturists, & merchants).
  4. Shudras (labourers & service providers).
  5. A fifth group, "Untouchables", was excluded from the caste system and historically performed the undesirable work.
