Traffic Signals are used to regulate traffic in cities, railways etc Can you tell why the red color is used to stop the traffic? Why not some different colors?​

Red is used because it is the color which is most associated with stop or perhaps danger. It gives the vibe/ the message that the person should be alarms. It evokes a sense of caution. Whereas if you used blue for example, blue is usually associated with the feeling of calmness so people might not want to/ think before they do something else.
