Train B is 50% faster than Train A. The distance between the cities is 600 kilometeres.
How long after their departure did the two trains meet?

speed of train b = 120kmph.

after 1 hr, train a = 80km from a station and train b 480km from station a i.e. 120km from station b.

in 2nd hour, train a is 160km away from city a and train b is 360 km away from city a.

in 3rd hr, train a is 240km away from city a and train b is also 240 km away from station a.

or we can say total distance ÷ (velocity of train a + velocity of train b )

=600÷(80+120)

=600÷200

=3 hr
