As We know that Train having length 500 meter crosses a man standing at the platform in 20 seconds.

→ S = D/t

→ 500/20

25 m/s

Now, The same train crosses the platform in 90 seconds.

Let the length of the platform be x.

» Total Distance = (500 + x) metres

→ S = D/T

→ 25 = (500 + x)/90

→ 2250 = 500 + x

→ 2250 – 500 = x

→ x = 1750

Hence,

The Length of the platform will be 1750 m (1.75 km).
