In the 1st case
Speed = Distance / Time
= 270/12
= 22.5 m/s
Now to convert m/s to km/hr we multiply the value by 18/5.
Speed = 22.5×18/5
= 81 km/hr
Similarly In the 2nd case
Speed = 450/15
= 30m/s.
= 30×18/5 km/hr
= 108 km/hr
Hope this helps.
