train passed road 216m in 24s and 328m in 32s then what's the length of train ?

let length of train is x and speed is y.

so, t' = (216+x)/y = 24 -------------1
t" = (328+x)/y = 32--------------2

from equation 1 and 2.
=> 216 + x = 24 y ----------1
=> 328 + x = 32y-----------2

subtract 1 equation from 2 equation .

=> 32y -24y = 328-216 +x-x
=> 8 y = 112
=> y = 112/8 = 14

then put y=14 in 1st equation ,

=> 216 + x = 24× 14
=> 216 + x = 336
=> x = 336-216= 120 m

so length of train = 120 m
