Now time1-time2=5 hr (i)

Time1=750/x

Time2=750

/x+25

Putting in eq (i)

750/x-750/x+25=5

On sloving

750(x+25-x/x^2+25x)=5

750(5)=x^2+25x

Or

X^2+25x-3750=0

Splitting the middle term

X^2+75x-50x-3750=0

X(x+75)-50(x+75)=0

(X+75)(x-50)=0

X=50km/h

Speed cannot be negative so -75is neglected

Speed of R is 75km/h and S is 50km/h
