and 1 hour =60min = 3600 seconds.

So to convert 90km/h into m/second...

90*(1000/3600)= 25 m/s (approx)

So if the train takes 10 seconds to cross a pole while running at 90 km/h then the length of the train is 25 * 10 which is 250 m.
