Answer:

speed of train 90km/hr=90X5/18=25m/s

time taken to cross man= 8s

distance travelled =speedXtime

=25x8=200m

it is equal to train length

to cross platform train travelled distance =200+250=450m

speed=25m/s

time taken=distance/speed

=450/25

=16s

Option B is correct

Speed of train = 90 x 5/18 = 25m/s
So, length of train = 25x8 = 200m

Time = distance/speed
= 200+250/90
= 450/90
= 5s

Note that the length of the train in also taken into account in distance as we need to take entire train when it passes through thr platform
