Given:-
- Distance travelled ,D = 10000 m
- Time taken ,t = 2hrs
To Find:-
- Average Speed ,Av Speed.
Solution:-
As we know that Average Speed is defined as the total distance covered divided by total time taken .
Firstly we convert the distance into Kilometres.
1km = 1000m
Therefore, 10000m = 10000/1000km = 10km
• Av. Speed = Total Distance/Total time taken
Substitute the value we get
→ Av. Speed = 10/2
→ Av. Speed = 5km/h
Therefore, the Average Speed of the train is 5km/h.
