TraingleABC is right angled at B. BD is perpendicular to AC .if AB =3cm , BC =4cm and AC =5cm , find the area of traingle ABC . Also find the length of BD.

Answer:

area of∆ANC=1/2×base×height

=1/2×BC×AB

1/2×4×3

2×3

6 cm²

For finding BD

take BD as height

and AC be base

so area of traingle ABC

1/2×BD×AC

1/2×BD×5

but we know that area of traingle=6cm²

so 1/2×BC×5=6

BC×5=6×2

BC=12/5

BC=2.4cm
