Trains are moving in the opposite directions at speed of 43 km/h and 51 km/h respectively. the time taken by the slower train to cross a mansitting in the faster train is 9 seconds. what is the length (in metres) of the slower train?

Solution:-
The speed of 1st train is 43km/h
Speed of 2nd train is 51km/h

When they meet at a common point the total speed of slow train is = 43+51
 =  > 94km
To convert it in m/s we will multiple it by 5/18
 =  > 94 \times  \frac{5}{18}  \\  =  > 26.11m \: per \: sec
Now,
Distance of slow train. =Speed× Time
 =  > 26.11 \times 9 \\  =  > 234.99 \: m
