Mother, I sit by my window for hours on end
And watch the long trains rumble past,
Some are dark and journey tediously,
No doors, no windows, no shining lamps.
Slowly they move: like huge elephants
That move like shadows in the shadowy dark.
A little kid who was enormously attached to trains that go under his window is loaded with stand amazed at their shape, speed, lights and eagerness. He is getting some information about each prepare that cruises by. As you read, you will see that artist presents various types of trains and the kid's responses on observing them cruising by.
