Heat transfer is the exchange of thermal energy between physical systems, depending on the temperature and pressure, by dissipating heat. The fundamental modes of heat transfer are conduction or diffusion, convection or radiation.
Heat transfer always occurs from a region of high temperature to another region of lower temperature.
HOPE THIS HELPSSS...

littledude: what is diffusion
baabu143pau: the intermixing of particles of 2 different types of matter on their own is called diffusion.

Heat transfer is the process of transfer of heat from high temperature reservoir to low temperature reservoir. In terms of the thermodynamic system, heat transfer is the movement of heat across the boundary of the system due to temperature difference between the system and the surroundings.
