Step-by-step explanation:

  • Given:- the equation :-

x^ 2+3xy-2 y^ 2 +7x + y-2=0 .......... (1)

  • Given :- origin(1,1)

Therefore,

h=1 & k= 1

we know :- x = x'+ h => x'+1

& y= y'+ k=> y'+1

put 'x' & 'y' in (1)

2( x'+1) ^2 +3(x'+1) ( y'+1) -2(y'+1) ^2 +7(x '+1) +( y'+1) -2=0

=>2[ x' ^2 +1 + 2 x'] +3[ x'y'+ x'+ y' +1] -2[ y' ^ 2 +1 +2y']

+7 x' +7 + y' +1 -2 = 0

=> 2x' ^ 2 + 3x'y' -2 y' ^ 2 + 14x' + 9 => 0

Dropping the dashes, the transformed eq,

2x^ 2 + 3xy-2y^ 2 +14x +9 =0

Hope this will help u all....
