Why transition metal have many alloys:
- the transition elements have almost similar size of atomic radius or one can use term atomic SIZE.
- due to the similarity in their sizes they can easily take up position in the crystalline lattices of other. { crystalline lattices ---> arrangement of atoms, ions or molecules in a crystalline solid or structure. }
- they can form alloys with themselves as well as other elements readily.
