Translate the following statements into chemical equations and then balance the equations:
(i) Phosphorus burns in oxygen to give phosphorus pentoxide.
(ii) Aluminium metal replaces iron from ferric oxide, Fe203, giving aluminium oxide and iron.
(iii) Carbon disulphide burns in air to give carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide.
(iv) Barium chloride reacts with zinc sulphate to give zinc chloride and barium sulphate.

i) Ans -  Phosphorous + oxygen = Phosphorous Pentoxide
                                                                                                                                                      After balancing equation,
                                                            4P +  5O2  → 2P2O5

ii) Ans - Aluminium + Ferric oxide  →  Aluminium Oxide + Iron

              After balancing equation,
                                                          2Al + Fe2O3 → Al2O3 + Fe2

iii) Ans - Carbon disulfide + Oxygen → Carbon dioxide + Sulphur dioxide

               After balancing equation,
                                                          CS2 + 3O2 → CO2 + 2SO2

iv) Ans -  Barium Chloride + Zinc Sulphate → Zinc Chloride + Barium Sulphate

                 After balancing this equation,
                                                                   BaCl2 + ZnSO4 → ZnCl2 + BaSO4

(I) 4P +5O2 --> 2P2O5
(ii) 2Al +Fe2O3 -->Al2O3 + 2Fe + heat
(iii) CS2 + 3O2 → CO2 + 2SO2
(iv) BaCl2 + ZnSO4 --> BaSO4 + ZnCl2
