Physiological processes are biological process that occur in single cell and multiple celled organisms that are vital for the survival of the organisms. Physiological processes are carried out by specialized type of cells or tissues, involves a system in which the cells and tissues are part and their normal functioning. Translocation is carried out by specialized vascular cells of plants known as the phloem. What makes translocation a physiological process is that it involves a system of the phloem cells and is a normal plant system function.
