Transpiration is called necessary evil because the increase in the rate of transpiration results in drying up (wilting) of the leaves. As the leaves turn dry the plant eventually dies.

heeyy so transpiration is a process in which plants release excess of water . It is necessary evil as ~1. it helps plant to cool temperature also it creates a pull for absorption and translocation for minerals.. However in this process also causes loss of water unnecessarily eventually the plant dries and dies
