Answer:

1) since xylem is the channel through which water and minerals are transported to different parts of plant , damaged xylem in a branch would mean that branch shall not get proper supply of water and minerals . lack of water and minerals will result in no photosynthesis in leaves of that branch. As a result , that branch shall not be able to get nutrition and would die in the long run.

2) Loos of water vapour through stomata and lenticels in plants is called transpiration.

3) the three type of blood vessels r:- 1) arteries 2) veins and capillaries.

4) The two functions of blood are :- 1) carrying oxygen to different parts of the body .

2) carrying nutrients to different parts of the body.

5) The number of pulses per minute is called pulse rate . The throbbing which can be felt near wrist and at some other places of human body is called pulse.
