(1) Transported formed when the agents of erosion deposit sediments at a place whereas in-situ soil is formed when the parent rock is broken into small fragments. (2) Transported soil is formed far away from its parent rock whereas in-situ soil is formed near its parent rock. (3) Transported soil is extremely fertile but in-situ soil is comparatively less fertile.  Alluvil soil is an example of transported soil. Black soil, Desert soil etc. are examples for in-situ soil.
