Speed of the motor cycle = 45 km/h

=\frac{45 × 1000\: m}{60 × 60 \:s}

= 12.5 m/s
time taken = ?

Distance travelled = Perimeter of the rectangular track
=> 2( l + b )
=> 2( 800 + 400 )
=> 2 × 1200
=> 2400 m

Similarly,
speed = \frac{distance}{time}

=> 12.5 = \frac{2400}{t}

=> t = \frac{2400}{12.5}

=> t = 192 s = 3.2 min

Answer:

Speed of the motor cycle = 45 km/h

=\frac{45 × 1000\: m}{60 × 60 \:s}

60×60s

45×1000m

= 12.5 m/s

time taken = ?

Distance travelled = Perimeter of the rectangular track

=> 2( l + b )

=> 2( 800 + 400 )

=> 2 × 1200

=> 2400 m

Similarly,

speed = \frac{distance}{time}

time

distance

=> 12.5 = \frac{2400}{t}

t

2400

=> t = \frac{2400}{12.5}

12.5

2400

=> t = 192 s = 3.2 min
