Travelling at a speed of 48 km/h takes 27 seconds to cross a man standing on the railway platform find the length of the train hence find the time taken by the train to cross a bridge 2.64 km long

Answer:

speed = 48*5/18 = 40/3 m/s

time = 27 second

so , D = 40*27/3 = 360m = length of train .

now train has to cross a bridge of 2.64km = 2640m

total distance train has to cover now = 2640+360 = 3000m

time train will take = 3000*3/40 = 225 second (Ans.)
