The treaty of Versailles was humiliating for the Germans because:
1) German lost its overseas colonies.
2) They lose tenth of it's population and thirteen percent of its territories.
3) They lose 75% of its iron, 26% of its coal to France, Poland, Denmark and Lithuania.
