Roots of trees hold the ability to protect soil from getting easily eroded thus resulting in protection of soil.

Also, they permit deep penetration of water.

The moment roots die, they become soil. This is the way through which root help in formation of soil, leading to a whole life cycle whereby the plat and soil benefit one another.

when the trees grow then the roots of the trees hold the soil and when they hold the soil then the some powder get out from the roots and this powder is converted in Soil.
