They are cone shaped so that the precipitation of water ( snow) does not get accumulated on them. Because of their cone shape the snow get slide off from the trees

trees are shaped like cones on mountains because when snow fall on them it covers the leaves and the tree will start to rot. so the trees are shaped like cone.

reghunbc: ok
reghunbc: cone shaped tree are adapted to grow in cold conditions. the pointed and triangular shape of these trees helps them shed heavy snow
