Trees, it is a wonderful poem i have ever read. it arouse the readers intusion to analize the poem to how far it deserves for the human characteristics. personification of the tree as women depicts the it's hugeness of love, beauty, thought fullness with heavy heart in porosity. But leaves a question, When baby tree is growing it reaches the God (Humanity). When human grows up, where he/she reach?
I think this poem is really saying something about nature and humans in comparisons. Such that nature is created only by God himself, just like humans, but humans can never make anything beautiful such as a tree or any kind of nature. Thinking of that I believe that Kilmer's religious background definitely had some type of influence on his writing this poem and what he talks about within it.
