Trent ran 1 1/2 times as far as his sister. What is the ratio of the distance Trent ran to the distance his sister ran?

Let the distance travelled by his sister be x. Then the distance travelled by Trent is (11/2)x.
The required ratio is [(11/2)x]÷x = 11/2
Thus 11 : 2
