Answer :

b ) 9,000

Step By Step Explanation :

Given :

Trial Balance shows rent paid Rs. 36,000.

Adjustment only 3/4th of the rent has been paid.

To Find :

Rent Outstanding

Solution :

Rent Paid = 36,000

¾ th of Rent has been Paid :

That is ,

¾ th of 36,000

Rent Has been Paid :

⟶ 36,000 × ¾

⟶ 1,08,000 / 4

⟶ 27,000

So, Rent Has been Paid = 27,000

Rent Outstanding will be :

Rent has to be pay =

Rent Paid ( in Trial balance ) - ¾ Paid Rent

⟶ 36,000 - 27,000

⟶ 9,000

Rent Outstanding Will be : 9,000

( b ) - 9,000 ✓
