Given,

∆ABC

angleB = 90°

(AC)²= 2(BC)² ( i )

We know pythagoras theorem,

(AC)² = (BC)² + (AB)² ( ii )

Comparing equation ( i ) & ( ii )

2(BC)² = (BC)² + (AB)²

(BC)² = (AB)2

BC = AC

So, angleA = angleC

We know that,

angleA + angleB + angleC = 180°

angleA + 90° + angleA = 180°

2angleA = 180° - 90°

angleA = 90°/2

angleA = 45°

Hence, AngleA = AngleC = 45°
