AB is tangent to Circle

Step-by-step explanation:

AB = 3 cm

BC = 4 cm

∠B = 90°

AC² = AB² + BC² = 3² + 4² = 25

=> AC = 5 cm

(1/2) * AB * BC = (1/2) * AC * BD

=> (1/2) * 3 * 4 = (1/2) * 5 * BD

=> BD = 2.4 cm

Now BD ⊥ AC => BD  ⊥ DC

=> Circle Passing through BDC    & ∠BDC = 90°

=> BC is Diameter of Circle

Take the mid point of BC

OB = OC  = 4/2 = 2 cm

Circle will be Drawn from O passing through B , D & C with radius = 2 cm

As OB is Radius

=> AB is tangent to Circle
